God’s words never cease…

Yesterday I posted “Writing an open canon, line upon line” and “Discussing an open canon“.  As a continuation of this important topic, I thought that today I would present you with a special treatment on the topic by an apostle of the Lord, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland.

Having read your faith-prompting bloggs,
Rusty. It is clear that we are invited to the
Table of Kings. The great Shepherd is
alive and He is a real person who looks
at the way we struggle with empathy.
The Finest and most powerful Tapestry
anyone can desire to have is His gospel.
How can we deny us a heroic life-pattern such
as will be revealed the first weekend of
October?
Gratefully

I like the visual of his gospel as a tapestry.

By the first weekend in October, do you mean General Conference? If so, I do so look forward to that event. How wonderful it is to sit and be fed by living prophets and apostles of the Lord.
